Daisy Fuentes is indisputably beautiful, but she will be the first to tell you that beauty comes from the inside out. Fuentes credits a happy family life, work she loves and a routine that includes “exercising with passion”, for her beauty and healthy glow.

Fuentes, 42, who has been in the public eye since she was 18 and got her first job as a Telemundo weather girl, is an entertainer, TV personality and entrepreneur whose business empire includes endorsements as well as her own clothing line and hair care products.

A stable home life, which for Fuentes means British musician boyfriend Matt Goss and her two dogs, is key for her happiness. Close relationships with her sister, and in particular with her mother, helped her understand herself better, says Fuentes. “It helps to figure out what you like and don’t like about yourself by observing your mother. A lot of women fight that and you can’t; you have to go with the flow.”

The two remain close. “My mom and I talk all the time and have a close relationship,” Fuentes explains.  “My mom is young- she had me when she was 19 - and I consider that she gave up a lot of her life to raise me and my sister Rosana. She is the one who taught me everything. If I have an issue I always look to her.”

Fuentes says that her mom has always been supportive of her career while “my dad was more cautious.”  That support has paid off as Fuentes moved on from Telemundo to MTV Internacional, and later co-host of “America’s Funniest Videos”. She soon branched out into endorsements and then later her own clothing line, Daisy Fuentes, carried by Kohl’s, and her recently launched line of hair care products, available at Walgreen’s.
