ImpreMedia Appoints Olga Casabona VP of Audience and Market Insights
ImpreMedia announced today the appointment of Olga Casabona to the newly-created position of VP of Audience and Market Insights in New York. The appointment is effective immediately. Ms. Casabona will report to impreMedia Chairman & CEO John Paton.
Casabona will be in charge of all aspects of proprietary and syndicated research for impreMedia. Under her new responsibilities, she will lead a new approach to research that will look at audiences across platforms – web, widgets, mobile, audio, social media, video and print – and emerging media to guide innovation and effectively connect advertisers to Latino consumers.
“As we look for unique ways to engage with the Hispanic community and provide marketers with innovative thought leadership and analysis, investing in research and integrating it in everything we do becomes critical. Olga has very capably led the research team at impreMedia for the last six years. She brings not only a deep understanding of the media, advertising, research and Latino markets but also an innovative and strategic approach to insights that will differentiate us in the marketplace,” Mr. Paton said.
Casabona joined La Opinión in 2003 as a Senior Market Research Analyst. In 2004 when La Opinión became part of the impreMedia umbrella she was appointed Market Research Manager and in 2007 she was promoted to Corporate Director of Research. Prior to impreMedia, Casabona worked for over six years at McKinsey & Co. and Accenture as a Strategy Research Associate in Madrid, London and Boston.
