DrScore.com Launches Spanish Version of its Online Physician Rating Survey
DrScore.com, the online physician-rating Web site, announces today that it has launched a Spanish version of its popular survey, eliminating a language barrier between patients and their physicians. Physician practices and health-care organizations across the United States use DrScore to solicit feedback from their patients to improve the health-care experience. The new bi-lingual survey enables doctors to gain input from Spanish-speaking patients who otherwise may not have participated.
“There are more than 45 million Hispanics living in the United States, and it is important that doctors be able to hear their voices when it comes to the health-care experience,” says Kimberly Khanna, director of sales for DrScore. “The new Spanish version of the DrScore survey provides an important communications bridge between practices and their patients.”
DrScore’s online survey provides a real-time picture of the patient’s experience — from check-in to the time spent with the physician — so practices and health-care organizations can quickly and cost-effectively address areas for improvement. DrScore eliminates the need for cumbersome paper surveys; instead, the practice simply directs patients to the DrScore Web site. To date, more than 120,000 surveys have been completed, which include detailed patient ratings on 13 different aspects of care. DrScore’s research team and analyzes the survey data and shares the results with participating practices on a quarterly basis.
“With DrScore, health-care providers receive a 360-degree view from the patient’s perspective so they can make meaningful enhancements to the health-care experience,” Khanna says. “Plus, patients benefit by knowing they are providing valuable feedback. Our research shows that patients who have a positive care experience are more likely to follow their doctors’ orders and take the prescribed medicines, which leads to better health outcomes.”
